Garrett and Lainie are happy! Lainie is getting ready to read her bag books (reading practice) and eat some lunch before afternoon Kindergarten. The are no politics or insults in this family-friendly, hopefully enjoyable post. Please enjoy your day no matter your political persuasion.

I don't have a problem with Dad posting whatever he wants. We are all wired as individuals and I want everyone in the family to feel they can be themselves and share whatever parts of their lives they want...even opinions. I would prefer no nudity or profuse profanity, but those are my only requests. I like hearing what is on Dad's mind. Let's not make others feel they have to worry about conforming to another's definition of appropriate.
You are right, Val. I apologize. It isn't my place to tell any of you what you can post. Let me rephrase it and say it is my personal preference not to use a family blog as a forum to get on a political soapbox, especially when it involves name calling. Can someone post something that actually has to do with our family? The last six posts have been Dad's political rants.
