"Campaigners for cutting greenhouse emissons scare us by proclaiming that a warmer world is a worse world. My dangerous idea is that it probably won't be.
Some bad things will happen. For example, the sea level will rise, drowing some heavily populated and fertile coastal areas. But in compensation, Siberia may become the world's breadbasket. Some deserts may expand; others may shrink. Some places will get drier, others wetter. The evidence that the world will be worse off overall is flimsy"

So why all the hype then? I thought you totally believed in the religion of global warming and all of the horrible things that will happen. did you hear Ted Turner's ridiculous comment last week how we would mostly die and those that were left would be cannibals after the earth's temperature rises eight degrees in ten. . . I mean 30 or 40 years. what a dink!
I do believe in the "religion of global warmimg". What is new here is the idea that it may not be all bad.
I believe that its likely man caused and that it would be a 'win-win" idea to attempt to address it by cutting greenhouse emissons. If global warming is man caused, then cleaning up our act may reduce it. If global warming is a natural cycle it would still be good to reduce emissons and pollution; we get a cleaner environment.
I don't care what Ted turner and a lot of other "personalities" say about anything. Consider the sources.
