we got a new camera!

Prom night

So, here is my first, and very lame attempt to add photos on a blog. Someone needs to show me how to rotate them (obviously!). Amber looked amazing last weekend as she and Adam went to their Sr. prom. The woman who made Courtney's wedding dress made this dress as well and did a fantastic job.

Birthday Celebration Postponed

I hope everyone received the email informing them that we have to postpone the Birthday celebration. We'll have to try to figure out if we can find a time that will work for everyone.
We were so looking forward to seeing everyone. Perhaps another time.

summit entertainmet just realesed the twilight trailer teaser. I am obsesed with the books and so they are now making it into a movie! They are already done filming the movie here in portland and our now editing. The author stephanie meyer is a mormon graduate from BYU! if you have seen the news latley they have said that her books might be better then harry potter!

Jonathan Lacrosse update

Jonathan has not been able to practice or play since he got a sprained ankle while playing lacrosse in Bend in April.It is really a bummer.He has been told to take it easy so it can heal up by football camp in June.He has got to referee a few youth lacrosse games for some money.He is preparing for 2 AP exams this month.

Hearing Aids & computer help desk

On Monday I got my hearing aides from Costco; $2,800. So far I'm not hearing much difference. Hearing women talk in class is my biggest problem. I hear only a little better in class, I think. I still ask for people to repeat what they said, maybe not as much. For things I can hear already, the hearing aids make it a bit louder and a bit "tiney" (tin like).
They are not at all uncomfortable. Hardly know they are in my ears. I have a followup appointment next week. We'll see what happens over time.
This is amazing; today I e-mailed McGraw-Hill Irwin computer help desk with a question about loading a test bank disk on our computer. It's for my econ text. About 2 minutes after I pushed "send" the phone rang. It was the help desk; an American who spoke perfect English clearly ansered my question. What a surprise in view of the many complaints about poor help desks manned by foreigners.
